Below is some information on the equipment I use, I will add more details over the coming months.

Panasonic G9

Just love this camera, the weight, feel, features etc are perfect for me.
Appreciate that everyone is different and all photographers have their favourites. I did use Canon gear, which I really liked but swapped to Micro 4/3 a number of years ago and have not looked back. Started with the G3, then G6 and GH3 before buying the G9. I have expanded my lens collection over the years alongside changing cameras.

I guess using Panasonic gear has become familiar and with the type of photography I do I can't see me making any changes soon.

Panasonic 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 LEICAA

This is my goto lens, I use this for probably around 80-85% of my photos.

I love the image quality and the focal range is perfect for most situations.

It feels good when used with the Panasonic G9, the feel of the camera and lens together is perfect for my needs. I do sometimes wonder why I take other lenses out,. considering how much I use this lens.

Panasonic 8-18mm f2.8-4.0 LEICAA

This is another great lens, one I don't use as much as I probably should.

Like the 12-60, the image quality is great, and is fantastic for those wide angle shots.

You do have to be careful with lens flare, but when the photo needs that wide angle view it's a great lens.

I bought this to replace my older Olympus 9-18mm f4.0-5.6, whilst I would say this lens is better than the Olympus overall it is also much bigger, heavier and more expensive. If you are on a budget or need a smaller wide angle lens, the Olympus is a great choice.

Panasonic 100-300mm f4.0-5.6 iiA

A fairly new lens which I have only used for a few photos.

Don't use a long focal length very often, but wanted an option for certain circumstances. I haven't really used the lens apart from a couple of test shots in the garden and on one trip top the Peak District. Results appear to be good for what I need, but will update the details as I use it more over the coming months.

Panasonic GX9

Bought a couple of years ago as an alternative to the G9 when trying to pack lighter.

Has some great features just like the G9 but in a much smaller package, I tend to use this camera along with the 12-32mm and 35-100mm lenses below, when I am packing really light, doing street photography or when packing for family holidays when the size/weight starts to matter.

Haven't used it as much as I thought I would but am keen to really explore what it can do over the next 12 months or so.

Panasonic 12-32mm f3.5-5.6

The small size, retractable mechanism and extremely lightweight design make it a perfect pairing with the GX9, allowing the combo to be quite small and compact but still offering good image quality. It provides a very versatile 24-64mm equivalent zoom range, as well as Panasonic's MEGA O.I.S. image stabilisation system.

Again looking to really explore what this lens can do when paired with the GX9.

Panasonic 12-32mm f3.5-5.6

This small lens with an equivalent 70-200 equivalent zoom range completes my lightweight package. It I take the GX9, 12-32 and 35-100 lenses, with spare batteries , cleaning cloth and a couple of screw on filters I can easily get this inside I standard DSLR type camera pouch. This makes it a very versatile kit for travelling light.
Again more pictures to take to fully confirm this lens is the right choice, but it's size seems perfect.

Manfrotto MT190CXPRO3 Tripod

A good quality carbon fibre tripod, that meets my needs, it is light enough, yet very stable.
It is easy enough to carry whilst out in most places I visit, it is quite compact when folded down yet easily tall enough when legs are extended.
The addition of the floating top arm meaning you can achieve all sorts of different angles and can get the camera at almost ground level if required. I find it's versatility along with szie and weight very useful.

Benro GD3WH Geared Head

I have tried a number of different tripod heads on the Manfrotto tripod.

I am still trying to work out if this is the best head for the photos I take, but so far it does seem excellent. It is very easy to alter the camera and offers very precise changes when required. The only issue was the fact that on the Manfrotto tripod the head was too close to the tripod meaning some movements where restricted, but adding a levelling base sorted out the gap issue.
